Customer wanted to fix up a club he and his son found in a garbage can at our local golf course. His son had broken his expensive driver shaft (which we fixed) and want him to have his own driver.
Before a good buffing. It was in rough shape.
After buffing.

….and after. Looks good!!!
The shaft was broken just above the hosel, so we tipped the shaft just behind the break and drilled out the hosel. Roughed up the shaft, added a ferrule, and reinstalled the shaft.
